DriftFM is a music discovery tool that explores artists just outside your normal listening sphere using your Last.fm history.
Recommendation systems often orbit the same popular artists. DriftFM pushes further into the “edge of your taste” to uncover rare, adjacent artists you are likely to appreciate.
We pick seeds from your listening history, traverse similar‑artist graphs, and build a 20‑track playlist of artists you have never played — each with previews and quick links to streaming platforms. Tracks play back to back; keep the ones you like when the queue ends.
We store minimal data needed to generate recommendations (Last.fm session, settings, favorites, and blocklist). Scrobbles are only sent when you tap “Scrobble”.
